Our mission is to mobilize God's people and engage the unreached in order to establish reproducing churches.
SEND International is looking to hire a full-time Bookkeeper. Primary responsibilities include processing monthly payroll and taxes along with the associated reporting requirements, tracking PTO hours, processing weekly accounts payable, initiating various journal entries throughout the month, and other duties as needed. Previous experience processing payroll and accounts payable is required.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
Detail-oriented, organized, accurate, dependable, and honest in dealings.
Thorough with excellent follow-up and tracking skills. Analytical / data-driven mindset; good with numbers and spreadsheets.
Enthusiastic about learning new skills and software systems.
Able to communication effectively with others who have limited English skills or financial knowledge.
Capacity to serve joyfully while dealing with difficult, sensitive issues and maintaining confidentiality.
Self-starter, comfortable working independently as well as having strong interpersonal skills to interact with other team members (in person and virtually).
The Ideal Candidate Should Also Have:
Experience with Microsoft NAV/Business Central (a plus). Bookkeeping / finance / accounting background .
Experience with Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Team). 2-3 years of proven experience as a bookkeeper or bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration.
Experience in non-profit, multi-fund accounting. Understanding of multi-state payroll requirements to ensure compliance.
Compensation:
Pay: $17.00 – $22.00 per hour
PTO: starting at 5 days
Medical & Life Insurance (Dental 100% self-pay)
403(b) Retirement Contribution.
