An annual event since 1986, the Scott Goodwin Law/WMUZ Law Day is consistently our most popular.
The biggest reason WMUZ listeners come to Law Day every year, is because Scott Goodwin assembles dozens of attorneys who specialize in different areas of law. If you’re dealing with a personal injury issue, there will be personal injury attorneys available to talk to. If you have a question about, say, a real estate transaction, you’ll find someone who can answer it. Same for family law (e.g., custody, divorce), bankruptcy, estate planning, contract issues, on and on.
But on the other hand, it’s not just about free legal advice. There’s lots more besides…
WMUZ Staff is on hand
WMUZ personalities and staff are awlays on hand at Law Day. If you’re a fan of them, Law Day’s a great opportunity to meet them and a question or two.
Activities for the kids
There’s always plenty to keep the kids occupied, like bouncy houses, face painting, sidewalk chalk and such. No need to worry aout keeping the little ones busy while you talk to an attorney.
Your favorite Super Heroes
Children of all ages love to meet their favorite super heroes. They’ve been at Law Day for a number of years now. Bring your cameras, because you’ll want plenty of souvenir pictures!
Giveaways galore
Part of the fun of law day is seeing the faces of WMUZ listeners — kids and grownups alike — win something. We’ve given away bikes, tickets, books, and more every year.
Free Bike Helmets
It’s a long-running tradition that Scott Goodwin Law gives away bike helmets to every kid who wants one. It’s just one way the firm shows folks the best injury is the one that never happened.
And of course, free food!
What Law Day would be complete without hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, ice cream and refreshments? The grills are always hot and churning out the food all afternoon. (Don’t forget the ice cream cart, either.)
